لجنة المخاطر تنظم ورشة عمل حول الإدارة السليمة للمواد الكيميائية في المختبرات 

في إطار جهود كلية الطب والعلوم الصحية لتعزيز ثقافة السلامة وإدارة المخاطر، نظَّمت لجنة المخاطر بالكلية يوم الخميس الموافق 30 أكتوبر ورشة عمل بعنوان «إدارة السليمة للمواد الكيميائية في المختبرات »، استهدفت موظفي المختبرات. الطبية.

شارك في الورشة (28) موظفًا من منسوبي المختبرات الطبية، وقدمها  البروفيسور  السعيد الشافعي من قسم الكيمياء بكلية العلوم، حيث تناول خلالها محاور متعددة تتعلق بأسس التعامل الآمن مع المواد الكيميائية، وطرق تخزينها، والتعامل مع الحوادث، وآليات التخلص الآمن من النفايات الكيميائية.

وفي ختام الورشة، عبّر المشاركون عن شكرهم وتقديرهم للجنة المخاطر على تنظيم هذه المبادرة، مؤكدين استفادتهم الكبيرة من محتوى الورشة وأثرها الإيجابي في تعزيز إجراءات السلامة داخل بيئة العمل.

وتأتي هذه الورشة ضمن سلسلة من البرامج التدريبية والتوعوية التي تنفذها لجنة المخاطر بهدف رفع مستوى الوعي بإدارة المخاطر وتعزيز بيئة عمل آمنة وصحية، انسجامًا مع توجهات الجامعة في تحقيق أعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة في جميع مرافقها.

The Risk Committee Organizes a Workshop on the Proper Management of Chemicals in Laboratories.

As part of the efforts of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences to promote a culture of safety and risk management, the college's Risk Committee organized on Thursday, October 30, a workshop titled "Proper Management of Chemicals in Laboratories," targeting medical laboratory staff. The workshop was attended by 28 employees from the medical laboratories and was presented by Professor Al-Saeed Al-Shafi from the Chemistry Department at the College of Sciences. It covered multiple topics related to the fundamentals of safe handling of chemicals, storage methods, incident response, and safe disposal mechanisms for chemical waste. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Risk Committee for organizing this initiative, affirming the significant benefit they gained from the workshop's content and its positive impact on enhancing safety procedures in the work environment. This workshop is part of a series of training and awareness programs implemented by the Risk Committee aimed at raising awareness of risk management and promoting a safe and healthy work environment, in line with the university's directions to achieve the highest standards of quality and safety across all its facilities.
