Forum Committee

Purpose

To plan, organize, and evaluate a weekly meeting during the academic year in which the College and SQUH staff and students, at large, discuss a varied spectrum of clinical topics of high educational value.

  3. To encourage College and SQUH staff (from different specialties) to prepare and present clinical cases/topics of high educational value.
  4. To moderate the College Forum sessions once or twice each semester according to a pre-circulated schedule: to introduce the speakers, ensure evaluations are completed by the attendees and give the certificates to the presenters.
  5. To evaluate each presentation in terms of content, educational value, and clinical relevance as per a preset objective criterion.
  6. To present to the Dean the evaluation results so the top three presentations can be awarded.
