Scientific Posters at the College of Law, Sultan Qaboos University

Scientific posters at the College of Law, Sultan Qaboos University, are considered vital academic tools aimed at embodying research outcomes through a distinct visual style. They are not merely a display of information, but rather a bridge connecting legal depth with cognitive simplification.

Here are the most prominent features of these posters at the College:

1. Goals and Objectives

By encouraging students and researchers to prepare scientific posters, the College aims to:

  • Develop Summarization Skills: The ability to condense complex legal research (such as dissertations and theses) into focused key themes.

  • Disseminate Legal Culture: Presenting contemporary issues and legislative analyses in a format that is easy for visitors or participants to grasp in a short time.

  • Enhance Interaction: Creating a deliberative environment between the researcher and the audience during academic events.

2. Content and Structure

Scientific posters at the College adhere to rigorous academic standards, typically including:

  • Title and Researcher: Identification data and academic affiliation.

  • The Research Problem: The core legal question addressed by the poster.

  • Methodology: The approach followed (analytical, comparative, etc.).

  • Results and Recommendations: The most significant legislative proposals or legal solutions reached by the researcher.

The College of Law places great importance on posters that address "Oman Vision 2040" and modern Omani legislation, thereby strengthening the student's role in national contribution from a legal perspective.
