With the aim of raising awareness and efficiency of the academic advising at the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, the Office of the Assistant Dean for University Studies organized a series of workshops for students and academic advisors at the college in cooperation with Dr. Saud Al-Jufaili. The workshops included an explanation of several academic topics of interest to the student and the advisor, such as the mechanism for GPA calculating, preparing and reviewing the student's study plan, registering courses for the next semester, advising students on probation, and other topics.

بهدف رفع الوعي والكفاءة في مجال الارشاد الأكاديمي بكلية العلوم الزراعية والبحرية، نظم مكتب مساعد العميد للدراسات الجامعية سلسلة من ورش العمل للطلبة والأكاديمين بالكلية بالتعاون مع الدكتور سعود الجفيلي. وقد تضمنت الورش شرح عدة مواضيع أكاديمية تهم الطالب والمرشد كآلية حساب المعدل الفصلي، إعداد ومراجعة الخطة الدراسية للطالب، تسجيل المقررات للفصل القادم، إرشاد طلبة الملاحظة الأكاديمية وغيرها من المواضيع.
