The Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit (QAAAU) at the College of Agriculture and Marine
Science coordinates and oversees all quality assurance and accreditation activities. The decision No. (595/2017)
of the establishment of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit was issued by the vice chancellor in 2017,
the unit supports the College's commitment to academic excellence through systematic monitoring, evaluation, and
continuous improvement of its academic programs, research, and community engagement.
Goals
Lead and manage accreditation processes in alignment with national and
international standards.
Develop and monitor the College's strategic plans for quality assurance and
accreditation.
Liaise with external accreditation and quality assurance agencies.
Coordinate the preparation of the College's annual report and key performance
documents.
Promote a culture of quality among faculty, staff, and students.
Design and deliver training workshops on quality assurance and accreditation.
Organize and manage external reviewer visits.
Follow up on recommendations from review and accreditation reports.
Provide consultation to departments on assessment and accreditation.
Manage the collection and analysis of assessment data for all college programs.
