The Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit (QAAAU) at the College of Agriculture and Marine Science coordinates and oversees all quality assurance and accreditation activities. The unit supports the College's commitment to academic excellence through systematic monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of its academic programs, research, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage accreditation processes in alignment with national and international standards.
• Develop and monitor the College's strategic plans for quality assurance and accreditation.
• Liaise with external accreditation and quality assurance agencies.
• Promote a culture of quality among faculty, staff, and students.
• Design and deliver training workshops on quality assurance and accreditation.
• Organize and manage external reviewer visits.
• Provide consultation to departments on accreditation requirements.
• Follow up on recommendations from review and accreditation reports.
• Lead the development and follow up on annual operational plan of the college.
• Act on any other relevant issues required by the College Dean.
