The University Strategy 2040 Priorities and Enablers and Strategic Directions
The University’s vision is realised through the achievement of the strategic directions of three priorities and three enablers, aligned with the domains of the University’s objectives set out in Article (6) of the University Statutes issued under Royal Decree No. (19/2024) dated 25 March 2024, as mentioned below:
First Priority: Higher Education
Preparing graduates equipped with future skills, aware of their ethical and professional responsibilities, and proud of their identity and heritage.
Second Priority: Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Consultancy
Enhancing the contribution of research, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and consultancy to sustainable development.
Third Priority: Local, Regional, and International Cooperation and Partnerships
Enhancing the University’s standing through strengthening strategic cooperation and partnerships at the local, regional, and international levels.
First Enabler: Governance, Management, and Financial Sustainability
Continuous development of the governance and management system to ensure its effectiveness in meeting needs, addressing future challenges, and ensuring the University’s financial sustainability.
Second Enabler: Human Resources
Enhancing employees' efficiency and effectiveness, and supporting their continuous professional development by providing a motivating work environment.
Third Enabler: Infrastructure and Support Services
Continuous development of infrastructure, facilities, and support services to meet the University’s evolving needs.
