“Kutub Tatahadath” Bags First Place

“Kutub Tatahadath (Books talk)” Podcast produced by the Main
Library of SQU won the first place for the Best Narrative Podcast in
Qaf Prize, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and
Youth.
“Kutub Tatahadath” podcast is an audio platform that reviews number
of various scientific and cultural topics in standard Arabic, in line to
the trends of the library’s visitors and followers on social media
platforms. It is basically based on the selected information from books
available in the Main library and supported by digital or printed books
from outside the library according to the need.
And the podcast emerged as a result of a collaboration between the
Main Library and Sawti Hyat platform. As the Main Library team
works on choosing topics, creating content, publishing and marketing,
while Sawti Hyat team works on recording it, adding the required
sound effects and publishing it on their social media platforms.
It is worth noting that Qaf Podcast Prize contains a set of categories:
best podcast idea prize, best interactive podcast prize, best narrative
podcast prize and audience prize (audience vote).
