Delegation from Sharjah Government Visits SQU

An official delegation from the Department of Government Relations of Sharjah, led by His Excellency Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations, visited the University on Tuesday. Her Highness Sayyida Dr. Muna bint Fahd Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation, welcomed the delegation in the presence of several academics and officials at the Cultural Centre.

During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties in various scientific, educational and cultural fields. Her Highness Sayyida Dr. Muna bint Fahd Al Said praised the collaboration between the University and the United Arab Emirates University. Similarly, His Excellency Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi commended the strong ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates across multiple sectors. Both sides also underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between SQU and universities in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The delegation also toured the Grand Hall and the Omani Studies Centre at the Cultural Centre.
