Dr. Said bin Hamad Al-Barashdi, Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, received special recognition at a ceremony celebrating outstanding talents in the civil service sectors and leading private companies across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The event was held in Kuwait alongside the meetings of the ministerial committees for civil service, labour and social affairs.

Dr. Al-Barashdi was awarded the individual prize dedicated to distinguished Gulf talents, joining a select group of prominent Omani and Gulf figures recognised for their contributions to institutional development and administrative performance.

This honour reflects his exceptional role in advancing the work environment at SQU and strengthening its administrative efficiency. It also underscores the presence of Omani talent in regional arenas and highlights the vital role administrative and academic expertise play in serving the civil service sectors of the GCC.
