SQU provides furnished accommodation for the foreign staff according to the contract (grade, position, family status, etc..). The accommodation could be in-campus or off-campus.

• Issuing vehicle entry permits for the campus of all kinds.

Academic Staff can apply for conference participation and can attend a conference based on invitation from another institutes as well.

After entering from Al khouds gate, drive straight till you reach a roundabout , turn left and take the third exit. You will then reach a second roundabout turn right and the library is on your left hand side, while you are heading to the parking lot.

People coming from Muscat and Al Dakhiliyah Region:
After entering from the Muscat gate, drive straight till you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit, and go straight, and then turn first right to reach the Main library.

The establishment of the University Press coincided with the initiation of Sultan Qaboos University in 1986 and since then, the University Press has witnessed a remarkable development in all its various departments. It has become a tangible role in serving the educational and research aspects in the university and spreading culture and various sciences to the community by providing the necessary publications for all units of the University.

Some services provided include:

• Printing textbooks for different colleges and centers.
• Photocopying and binding abstracts for all colleges and centers.
• Print summaries of conferences and seminars held at the university.
• Printing programs, certificates, brochures, cards and all related publications related to conferences, exhibitions and events of the University Day and graduation ceremony
• Printing books received and approved by the Scientific Publishing Council.
• Printing the scientific journals of the faculties after their approval by the scientific publishing council and the approval of the vice president.

The University Mosque is religious side which contributes to the scientific and intellectual aspects. The mosque and its facilities are located in a total area of 5782.1 cubic meters.

The Staff Club exists to promote integration and strengthen the feeling of community at the Sultan Qaboos University. SQU Staff Club aims to satisfy the recreational needs of the families of academic, technical and administrative staff of the University and SQU Hospital. To this end, various sporting venues are provided, sports instruction is offered, catering services are provided and social and cultural activities are organized.

Customer Service Department plays an important and effective role to serve its employees by:

• Receiving their suggestions, complaints and grievances.
• One to one dialogue with employees who have special case, listening to them and providing solutions and alternative.
• Giving advice on some issues to find a common solution between the customer and the other party.
