SQU is set to host the Fourth Arab Forum for Graduate Students in Media and Communication from 17 to 19 February. Organised by the Department of Mass Communication at the College of Arts and Social Sciences in collaboration with the Arab Media and Communication Network, the event brings together over 40 researchers from across the region.

The forum is co-organised with the Institute of Press and Information Sciences at the University of Manouba, Tunisia, and Abdelhamid Ben Badis University of Mostaganem, Algeria. It will feature in-depth discussions on critical approaches to Arab scientific research in media and communication, with keynote addresses and panel sessions led by prominent scholars.

The final day will focus on the doctoral research process, offering insights into dissertation development and academic publishing.

The event will conclude with a closing ceremony recognising outstanding student research and announcing the Fifth Arab Forum for Graduate Students in Media and Communication.
