Organised by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the two-day Medical Education Conference was launched on Monday, focusing on advancing curriculum development, adopting innovative teaching methods, and enhancing scientific research and clinical training to meet the evolving needs of the health sector in the GCC.

Prof. Rashid bin Khalfan Al-Abri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at SQU and Chair of the conference, highlighted that the conference coincides with the 38th Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in GCC Countries, offering a vital platform for strengthening academic partnerships and advancing medical education to global standards.

The event brings together academics, healthcare professionals, and representatives from medical institutions in Oman and the GCC. Organised in collaboration with the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in the GCC, and supported by the College of Nursing at SQU, the Ministry of Health, and other institutions, the conference serves as a leading platform for exchanging expertise and fostering collaboration to advance medical education and healthcare.
