A delegation from SQU visited Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, from 19 to 21 July, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen its international presence and enhance its academic and research engagement.

The delegation included a number of students representing university-based student start-ups, including Aura, Ilaj, Tuba, and Serbal. Their participation aimed to benefit from the experiences showcased at Expo 2025 Osaka and to explore innovative ideas in the fields of education and technology.

During the visit, the delegation toured several national and corporate pavilions, enabling direct interaction with various research and academic institutions and exposure to a wide range of global cultures.

The University’s participation in this international event reflects its commitment to international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the expansion of its academic and research collaborations and strategic partnerships. It also reinforces SQU’s leadership role in education and knowledge, supporting the development of its academic and research programmes in line with the aspirations of Oman Vision 2040.
