The joint committee between Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Public Authority for Mining (PAM) held its third meeting on Tuesday, 31 December 2019 at SQU. The meeting was led by HE Dr. Ali bin Saud Al-Bimani, Vice Chancellor of SQU, and HE Eng.

The opening ceremony of the 5th he International Conference on Numerical Analysis and Optimization (NAOV 2020) was held on Monday, 6 January 2020 under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Saud Al Bimani, the Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

Dr. Allen Miller, Vice-Provost and Director of Global Carolina, University of South Carolina, USA visited Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Wednesday, 8 January 2020 to review and enhance the ties between the two universities.

Prof. Mohamad Abdalla is the Director of the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE), School of Education at the University of South Australia.
