Training Committee

 

Purpose

To govern the training/study programs rendered available to College's staff/faculty.

 

Responsibilities

  1. To recommend for the College a plan of training courses, under- and post-graduate-studies for the development of its staff and faculty.
  2. To establish College criteria that guide the selection of staff/faculty for study/training programs in conformance with SQU rules and regulations.
  3. To disseminate information regarding training/study available opportunities.
  4. To receive, evaluate and approve applications for training/study programs.
  5. To follow up, monitor and evaluate the progress of delegated staff/faculty for training/study programs.
  6. To act on any other related matters that may be assigned to the Committee by the Dean.
  7. To periodically report to the College Board on the progress of the Committee work.
