Under the patronage of His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Muhammad Al-Murshidi, Chairman of the Omani Investment Authority, the second international conference on economics and business administration organized by the college opened on 12 December 2022. The opening ceremony included the speech of the Dean of the College; Dr. Al-Mukhtar bin Saif Al-Abri, who confirmed that the conference will provide a platform to discuss the most important challenges affecting the global and Omani economy and business management and financing. The opening ceremony also included the keynote speech of the conference, which was presented by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Adham bin Turki Al Said which titled with global trends and their expected impacts on the local and global economy.

 

The high-level dialogue session came with the participation of His Highness Dr. Adham Al Said, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al Salmi, CEO of the Capital Authority, and His Excellency Taher Al Amri, CEO of the Central Bank of Oman, moderated by Dr. Hatim bin Bakhit Al Shanfari.

 

The second main discussion panel was titled with the Scientific Research from the Editor-in-Chiefs Perspectives. Three of the editors of prestigious international journals participated in the session that was moderated by Prof. Dr. Khaldoun Naseer.

 

The conference lasts for two days where 63 research papers were discussed during 12 sessions.
