The College of Economics and Political Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), and the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) signed a cooperation program on February 8, 2022 to draw on the academic and practical expertise in the field of Financial Technology and financial innovation. The cooperation program was signed by His Highness Sayyid Fahad bin Al-Julanda Al Said, SQU Vice-Chancellor, and His Excellency Tahir bin Salim Al Amri, CBO Executive President.

 

The program aims at developing Financial Technology and Financial Innovation within the field of academia, as well as enhancing students' skills and ability, organizing joint events and conferences and exchanging visits. CBO will also offer summer training opportunities for SQU students at CBO Headquarters in both financial technology and financial innovation.
