  • The Master of Science program in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Sultan Qaboos University is ideally positioned to support the diversification of the national economy by providing the supply chain and logistics sectors with competent and highly-qualified professionals.
  • The program’s content equips students with advanced skills and knowledge in the development, implementation and maintenance of supply chains using globally proven operations management principles and practices.
  • The potential employment opportunities for graduates are not restricted to logistics and supply chain but include senior positions in other sectors, such as manufacturing, transportation, health, tourism, and energy.
  • On top of enhancing career advancement, the program equally prepares its graduates to pursue international doctoral degrees, as well as careers in business research and private consultancy.

 

CIPS

  1. A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4-point scale or its equivalent in one of the following disciplines is normally required.
  • Operations Management
  • Business Analytics
  • Information Systems
  • All business disciplines
  • All engineering and science disciplines
  1. Applications from other disciplines will be assessed individually, and may be subject to passing bridging courses before starting the program.
  2. Applicants whose cumulative GPA is less than 2.75, but above 2.50 on a 4-point scale or its equivalent, and who possess a minimum two years of relevant work experience, may also be considered for conditional admission.
  3. In all cases, candidates must meet the University’s postgraduate admission requirements.

Core Courses (15 credits)
The MSc-OSCM program includes 15 credits/hours of required core courses. All students must successfully complete the following required courses:
