On 12th March 2023, the college inaugurated the 19th edition of the Business Week, entitled "Leading Thought for an Emerging Economy". The opening ceremony was under patronage of  His Highness Dr. Adham bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, with the presence of a number of their highnesses and honorees, and a number of CEOs members of the academic, administrative staff, and students. The ceremony included the speech of the Dean of the College, Dr. AlMukhtar bin Saif Al-Abri, followed by the speech of the President of the Business Society Group; Rawas bin Sami Al-Rawas. The ceremony included a presentation on the experience of two leading Omani companies in the field of innovation to provide innovative solutions and products; “OSOS” a company found by its CEO Abdullah Al Kindi and “ONSOR” a company found by Muath Al Hinai.

 

During the ceremony, students visual presentations were presented on the promising areas of innovation in the GCC countries. That was followed by a discussion session which was held with the participation of Dr. Ali bin Salem Al Balushi; Head of the Electronic Defense Center, Ms. Laila Al-Hadrami; Smart Cities Consultant, and Mr. Asim bin Abdullah Al-Saqri from the Oman Sail Center. Where it was moderated by Ms. Kholoud Al Alawi. After that, the exhibition of students projects was inaugurated where ten students groups presented innovative projects that are applicable and economically feasible to take advantage of the competitive elements that the country abounds in.
