Theater group was first established in 1992. It aims to discover and to display students' abilities in theater.

Group's objectives:

• To foster and motivate theatrically talented students.
• To spread the culture of theater among people whether outside or inside the university.
•  To effectively contribute in emphasizing the importance of theater in the society.
• To offer the opportunity for those who are interested in theatre to show and effectively utilize their energy, their enthusiasm and their creativity, in addition to developing their skills in this field.
• To perform some of the most significant Arabic plays and dramas and to hold theatrical competitions between colleges.  
• To disseminate knowledge of theater, its important figures and their most significant works
