Return Books

Please return books using the self-check machine on the ground floor inside the library, or use the outdoor return machine.

After returning your books, you may leave them on the designated tables. Please do not leave books on the self-check machine tables.

📕

Lost Books

If a book is lost, you will be required to pay the replacement cost. The amount varies depending on the item.

The Circulation Section determines the cost of lost books. You will be charged the book cost, a processing fee of 50% of the item cost, and any applicable fines.

Overdue Fines

A daily fine is charged for each item not returned or renewed by its due date.

Fine Rates
Students: 100 baisa per day, per item
Staff & Faculty: 200 baisa per day, per item

The library provides a three-day grace period. If items are not returned or renewed within that period, fines will be charged for each day, including the grace period.

Renewals & Fine Monitoring

Fines accrued at the time of renewal are not cancelled, and paid fines are non-refundable.

Users are not notified automatically of fines. Please log in to your library account to check fines and pending loans, or contact the circulation staff for assistance.
