Patient Safety is a global health priority. No one should be harmed in healthcare due to unsafe care in the hospital. At Sultan Qaboos University Hospital we work toward creating awareness of patient safety by urging hospital care providers to show their commitment to making healthcare safer for our patients.
SQUH aims to actively involve and mobilize patients, family and care providers, healthcare professionals, students, policymakers , academicians and researchers of the healthcare industry to speak up for patient safety.
At SQUH we engage patients as partners in their care with good communication. Patients are encouraged to ask questions to their healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technologists, therapists and nutritionists) to create an open and transparent safety culture in our hospital.
Advocating for patient safety is a requirement that SQUH puts as priority. Our hospital invests in patient safety through strong accreditation standard compliance to save lives and build trust between our patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
Speak up for Patient Safety!
Remember: No one should be harmed in healthcare.
