The Unit, represented by Mr. Ahmed Al-Wuhaibi, conducted a training program for employees of the Environment Authority. The program aimed to train them on the propagation of selected native plants and to strengthen national efforts toward conserving plant biodiversity in the Sultanate.
Dr. Mona Al Said, Deputy Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation, honored the Life Sciences Unit, represented by Mr. Ahmed Al-Wuhaibi, in recognition of the Unit’s collaboration and active participation in various programs organized by the Office of International Cooperation.
Dr. Amina Al-Farsi conducted a research visit to study and document some plant specimens collected from Oman. The research was carried out at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh and Kew from April 11 to 25, 2025.
