Participation on 24th International Conference on Computational Statistics

Our two PhD (Statistics) students at the Department of Statistics, College of Science presented their research outputs at the 24th International Conference on Computational Statistics, which took place at the University of Bologna, Italy, 23-26 August 2022. The students were awarded certificates for their presentations. Ms Muna Al Shaaibi presented a new R Package for bias reduction with LogF(1,1) penalty under the MAR mechanism, while Mr. Mubarak Al Shukeili presented a novel transformation and covariance estimation for the non-linearly separable misclassification problem. Congratulations to the students and their supervisor, Dr. Ronald Wesonga."
