Architectural Engineering

Overview

 

Master of science program in Architectural engineering is a traditional thesis-based program that is designed to enhance the knowledge, research, analysis, and professional skills of graduate students to design, construct, and maintain sustainable built-environments. The paradigm of sustainable development compels the architectural engineering discipline not only to create conducive built-environments but also to make them economically viable, socially equitable and environmentally sustainable. This overarching theme encompasses key subjects like; sustainable buildings, urban built environment, built heritage conservation and renewal, green and lean construction, green building technologies, building energy systems, construction management etc., in the contemporary academic discourse. Full-time or part-time study may be pursued.
