Construction Engineering and Management

Overview

 

Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) is a thesis-based program designed to provide the student with knowledge of advanced methods for analysis and design for research and development in general. The program includes both Construction Engineering and Construction Management components. The construction-engineering component represents the application of engineering theories and principles to construction operations. The construction-management component represents an application of the principles, tools and techniques to manage construction activities.

Students will have the opportunities to deepen their knowledge in construction engineering and management, such as project planning, scheduling, equipment and machinery, resource management and optimization, health and safety, cost estimation, risk assessment and management, etc.

 

Full-time or part-time study may be pursued.
