Alumni Forums


The College of Education is keen to keep an open channel with its alumni from all majors and from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The office of Assistant Dean for Training and Community Service cooperates with the Centre for Career Guidance and the different departments at the college to plan and execute various gatherings throughout the academic year to bring the college alumni with the faculty members and current candidates at the college.

Alumni Forum for College English-medium Programs, March 2019

Forum objectives:

  • Enhancing communication between the College of Education and its graduates.
  • Developing the spirit of institutional belonging and national loyalty among graduates.
  • Identifying the perceptions of graduates on their teacher preparation programs at the university, to find out the strengths to enhance them and the weaknesses to address them.
  • Creating opportunities for communication between the graduates themselves and their colleagues.

Alumni Forum for College Arabic-medium Programs. March 2, 2023

Forum objectives:

  • Enhancing communication between the College of Education and its graduates.
  • Developing the spirit of institutional belonging and national loyalty among graduates.
  • Identifying the perceptions of graduates on their teacher preparation programs at the university, to find out the strengths to enhance them and the weaknesses to address them.
  • Using graduates’ input and data in the process of improving the college's programs and its continuous development plans, and for the purposes of renewing academic accreditation.
  • Striving for the continuous professional development of graduates and linking them to developments related to their majors.
  • Creating opportunities for communication between the graduates themselves and their colleagues.


Forum Participants:

 

  • Faculty members at the College of Education.
  • Graduates of bachelor's programs for majors taught in Arabic (Islamic Education - Arabic Language - Art Education - Physical Education).
  • Representatives of partner colleges such as College of Arts and Social Sciences.
  • Representatives from Ministry of Education.
