The Education Society is supervised by the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University represented by the Office of the Assistant Dean for Training and Community Service in coordination with the Department of Cultural and Sports Activities at the Deanship of Student Affairs. Every academic year, the society engages its participants in the organization and execution of several events and activities that serve the community both inside and outside the university. The Society serves as an important and influential social mediator in the formation and industry of a promising and influential student personality who can serve their university and country on all fronts.

The Education Society includes under its umbrella six student groups: Technology, Psychology, Sports and Society, Colors of Art, Tufoola and Sirag.

Preparing an educated student cadre that combines cognitive and emotional skills and is competent at applying them at the educational and societal levels.

Mission

The Education Society seeks to enhance and activate the role of the student inside and outside the college and to organize many activities related to the various fields of education.

• Activate the collaboration between Private and Government sectors in order to prepare and organize events
• Reach better interaction between the group and its subgroups
• Serve the society internally and externally in all aspects

1. The participant should be interested in educational issues.
2. The priority is for studying and the group activities are considered as supplementary activities that could be done in free time.
3. Members should have commitment to their morals and ethics.
4. Cooperation is an important thing for the success of the group.
5. Members should show commitment to attending the workshops and the meetings done by the group.
