The Art Colors Group Activities and Events in the Art Education Department
(Alwan Alfan Group)

As part of the department's efforts to enhance the university's role in community service, the Art Colors Group (Alwan Al-Fan) was established under the supervision of Dr. Amal Al-Ismaili. The group serves as an effective platform that integrates the development of students' artistic skills with community engagement, both within and beyond the university. The group's strategy focused on empowering students through continuous motivation, regular meetings, and the activation of field activities that extended to schools, villages, and historical forts. Furthermore, summer vacations were strategically used to organize art workshops that served and enriched local communities. To ensure a diverse scope of influence, the initiatives encompassed specialized workshops, interactive events, and collaborations with prominent artists from both within and outside the Sultanate. Additionally, an official Instagram account was launched to enhance communication, serving as a digital visual archive documenting all departmental and group activities and reflecting public engagement. The following table highlights the most prominent initiatives and participations implemented within this framework. Notably, among the group's key achievements was the selection of member Rudaina Al-Subhi for the 2025 annual university trip, in recognition of her outstanding extracurricular participation.
