As part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of its teacher preparation program, the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University welcomed a review team from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), one of the largest institutions of accreditation of teacher preparation programs in the United States.This visit was scheduled from Sunday, December 3, to Wednesday, December 6, 2023.The visit was conducted remotely via the Zoom platform and included several video interviews with partners and stakeholders associated with the College to verify the compliance with the teacher preparation CAEP standards.The visit was organized by the Administrative and Technical Support Committee and was directly supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Saleh Salem Al-Busaidi, the head of the Academic Accreditation Steering Committee, and the unit of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation in the College.
